My name is Luke Gallagher, and I am a junior anthropology and geography double major from Aurora, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. My subfield is archaeology, and my current dream job would be working for the Defense POW/MIA Accountability Agency (DPAA), the arm of the Department of Defense that is tasked with recovering service members overseas whose bodies have never been recovered. I am a member of the school’s club bowling team and have been bowling competitively for the last 7 years. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching documentaries (particularly history documentaries), playing video games, and playing soccer with my friends. I have one younger brother, and he and I are only 14 months apart. I have been a proud member of the anthropology program since my freshman year and could not imagine having come in with any other declared major (besides geography, of course). The anthropology department and everyone within it, students and faculty/staff alike have no doubt been a large part of my success and I really don’t know where I’d be without it. I hope to share my great experience with other students and hopefully convince them to join the department or just take an anthropology class to see what it’s all about! Contact Luke.

I'm a junior Biological Anthropology student with a minor in Ethnic Studies. Along with being an Ambassador for my department, I am involved with the Society for Student Anthropologists on campus and the University College Academic Peer Advisor program. On weekends, I volunteer at the local history museum, watch too much Star Wars, and play Dungeons and Dragons with friends. All in all, I'm a big nerd! Contact Kelly.

I am a Junior Sociology and Public Relations major at ISU, graduating in May of 2021. My experience in the Sociology major is amazing, and I'm excited to be in a position to share my resources and skills! Not only does this major continue to grow my writing and comprehension skills to levels I never thought it would be, but it also gives me a new way of thinking about the world I live in. Personally, I love helping the community and am heavily involved in the Child Protection Network, Boys and Girls Club, and A Just Brew here at ISU. I am an extremely outgoing person and will start any conversation I have the opportunity to. Fun fact, I'm also a huge Chicago Bears fan. Contact Dani.
